Abstract
Se presenta un caso que se identifica con los de la serie presentada por McQuarrie bajo el nombre de Hipoglicemia Idiopática Espontánea de la Infancia. Se observan los efectos benéficos del tratamiento preconizado y se mencionan sus posibles mecanismos de acción. Se hacen algunas consideraciones etiopatogénicas y fundamentalmente se previene sobre la necesidad imperiosa de establecer rápidamente un diagnóstico adecuado.
