They are related to disorders of lipid metabolism and, less frequently, to monoclonal gammopathies. In a percentage of the cases there is no evidence of a subsequent disease appearing these lesions sporadically. We report the case of a 57-year-old male with a prior history of diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia, with yellowish papulo-nodular lesions disseminated in the body, clinically and histologically compatible with eruptive xanthomas.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Revista Colombiana de Endocrinología, Diabetes & Metabolismo}, author={Rojas-Martelo, Giovani Andrés and Hernández-Quiceno, Diana Katherine and Espinoza-Delgado, Walter}, year={2018}, month={Mar.}, pages={44–46} }
