Abstract
- Presentamos 5 casos de hipofosfatasia. en 5 hermanos, hijos de una mujer osteodistrófica.
- Las manifestaciones clinicas se iniciaron después de los seis meses en todos los pacientes y ellas se caracterizaron por retraso somático, estatural, ponderal, psíquico y funcional. Existían en todos deformidades esqueléticas.
- La radiografía mostró lesiones muy semejantes en todos los casos, alteraciones del esqueleto muy semejantes a las del raquitismo por déficit de vitamina D.
- El laboratorio mostró en todos los casos. valores bajos en calcio, fósforo y fosfatasas alcalinas.
- La biopsia ósea practicada en un caso en el más típico, demostró cambios semejantes, si no idénticos, a los que se observan en el raquitismo florido.
