Resumen
Abstract
Fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) is a simple and generally safe office-based procedure that accurately and cost-effectively improves the diagnostic investigation of nonfunctioning thyroid nodules. Thyrotoxicosis following FNA has been rarely described in the medical literature. A case of post aspiration thyrotoxicosis is described here with the intent of increasing awareness of this likely underreported complication of FNAB.
