Resumen

Introducción: la enfermedad cardiovascular representa el 31% de fallecimientos globales y 30% de la mortalidad en Colombia, el Tolima presenta la mayor mortalidad por enfermedades isquémicas cardíacas (184.9 vs 155.3 nacional por 100,000 habitantes) por lo tanto las estrategias tradicionales de prevención enfrentan limitaciones de accesibilidad.

Objetivo: diseñar una base exploratoria en un centro especializado para crear una herramienta tecnológica para la vigilancia y prevención de enfermedades cardiovasculares en Ibagué 2025.

Métodos: estudio cuantitativo, observacional, descriptivo y transversal en un centro especializado de Ibagué, 2025. Se seleccionaron 137 participantes (IC 90%; 5% error) mediante muestreo no probabilístico. Se desarrolló instrumento validado mediante revisión sistemática, con cinco secciones.

Resultados: muestra: 68.6% mujeres, 50.4% mayores de 50 años. Prevalencia de factores de riesgo: hipertensión (22.6%), diabetes (19%) y dislipidemia (43.1%). El 75.2% cumplió recomendaciones de actividad física, 8.8% presentó tabaquismo. El 97.8% manifestó disposición para usar aplicaciones móviles de prevención cardiovascular. Funcionalidades preferidas: monitoreo de presión arterial (29.9%) y recordatorios medicamentosos (28.5%). Barreras principales: dificultad de uso (51.8%) y desconocimiento funcional (29.2%).

Discusión: Este estudio mostró una disposición favorable hacia aplicaciones móviles para prevención cardiovascular, lo cual sugiere una escenario factible para investigaciones futuras. Limitaciones: Muestra no representativa de institución privada especializada. Instrumento con baja confiabilidad interna (?<0.40). Resultados no generalizables a población general

Conclusiones: En esta muestra especializada, se observó disposición favorable hacia aplicaciones móviles (97.8%) que requiere validación con instrumentos robustos y muestreo representativo.
